What to prepare before the Vending Machine Arrives

Getting your vending machine ready before delivery helps ensure a smooth installation and successful setup. Proper preparation allows the technician to complete the demo quickly and ensures your machine operates correctly from day one.

Here are the important things you should prepare before your vending machine arrives.

1. Prepare coins for change

Vending machines require coins to provide change to customers, so it is important to prepare coins in advance.

Fill the coin tubes up to about 3/4 full to ensure the machine can dispense change properly.

Prepare both old and new coins in the following denominations:

  • ₱1 coins

  • ₱5 coins

  • ₱10 coins

  • ₱20 coins

Make sure you have at least 50 pieces of each coin.

These coins will be used to calibrate the bill acceptor and ensure the machine gives the correct change during transactions.

2. Prepare snacks and soda products for the vending machine

Before the vending machine arrives, prepare the products you plan to sell.

For snack vending machines, you may prepare items such as:

  • Chips

  • Biscuits

  • Chocolates

  • Candies

  • Instant noodles

For drink machines, prepare:

  • Soda drinks

  • Bottled water

  • Juice drinks

  • Energy drinks

During the demo and setup, the technician will show you how to properly load products into the machine and configure the pricing.

3. Buy and Register a SIM Card

Smart vending machines require internet connectivity so you can monitor your machine remotely.

Before installation, purchase a SIM card and make sure to register it using your name and valid ID as required by Philippine regulations.

We recommend choosing a SIM with no-expiry data so the machine remains connected without interruptions.

You may also load the SIM card with data before the demo so the system can be tested immediately.

4. Prepare a Dedicated Electrical Outlet

The vending machine must have its own electrical outlet or wall socket.

Using an extension wire or shared outlet is not recommended because it may reduce the power supply to the machine. When the machine receives insufficient power, some product spirals may not rotate properly, which can cause products to get stuck.

For best performance, the vending machine should be connected directly to a dedicated wall outlet with stable power.

5. Prepare Everything Before the Demo

To ensure a smooth installation and demonstration, make sure the following are ready before the technician arrives:

  • Coins for change

  • Snacks and drinks for stocking

  • Registered SIM card with data

  • Dedicated electrical outlet for the machine

  • A clean and secure location for the vending machine

Having everything prepared allows the technician to complete the demo, calibration, and setup quickly.
